[Nero scrambles to get up when Jason stands, not wanting to be farther from him than necessary. Wrings some of the water out of his clothes, and rolls down his pant leg.
[he pulls the towel off of his head and lets it drape on the ground. his face is red, but the hiccups have stopped, and his breathing seems to be approaching back to normal.]
[at some point, he'd tucked a book into his jacket i forgot to note, but, he's more focused on kicking his shoes off for now, and considering washing his face off, the mask dropping slightly and a more annoyed look sinking onto his face.]

and so he wipes his face and then starts to stand up. He doesn't know where he wants to go-- but not there.
maybe he just... wants to be alone. he glances at Nero, watching him cover for the mess he'd made, quietly contemplating.]
no subject
Adamantly,]
I'm not leaving you alone.
no subject
[he pulls the towel off of his head and lets it drape on the ground. his face is red, but the hiccups have stopped, and his breathing seems to be approaching back to normal.]
no subject
[That's the first thing out of his mouth, on pure instinct.]
no subject
no subject
Then I'll just sneak you into my room.
no subject
... What?
no subject
[it's normal!]
no subject
Yeah that was before someone decided to make “banning” a thing.
no subject
[Reaches to take Jason's hand, squeezing it. He's serious.]
no subject
Sure. I guess.
no subject
He'll unlock my balcony. I'll take the outside route with you.
no subject
[At least, he had a Feint. Made things easier.]
Hopefully someone doesn't touch him.
[but he's figuring they'll go out of his window exit-- that's less obvious than the Bad End balcony.]
no subject
[Slips his sandals back on and goes to follow Jason's lead, out of here.]
no subject
no subject
Maybe I should get a lock on my door...
no subject
[and the window exit-- he unlocks it with his phone, same as the way to get into bad end.]
And no one has to know when I come or go, this way.
no subject
Seems hypocritical since I've been trying to make avante more-- open, but. I want... somewhere for you too.
no subject
Don't do it, then. You want it more open, then don't get a lock. Simple enough.
[climbing up easily enough]
no subject
[Following behind on foot,]
no subject
[and then he gets to the window, and hops inside, pulling his grappling hook behind him.]
Definitely a thing I'll do.
no subject
[The Feint is inside, having opened the window, and disappears once handing the phone back to Nero when he hops into his room.]
no subject
Guess I'll be the judge of that.
no subject
...I'm sorry.
no subject
[he exhales and pulls his jacket off, plucking the book out.]
