[he tosses the book at him, sitting up. it's a book. but it looks like it's... pride and prejudice and zombies.

then he stands, pulling off his shirt, next.]

...I'm almost 100% sure this story doesn't normally have zombies.

[Scoots further down into the bed so he can be right next to Jason, but keeps reading without further protest.]

[he's just quiet as he keeps reading.

though slowly, the phone drops.

then his eyes close.

and before he really knows it, he's out cold.

guess who is still very, very, very tired]

When Nero finally notices, he stops - takes it as a cue to put the book aside. His eyes wander over Jason's face for a moment, examining the puffy redness that still lingered... and gives him a light kiss on the forehead.

Then dims the lights and curls up around him, for however much rest his poor boyfriend could get tonight.]

[it's another-- relatively long sleep. for him. he blinks himself awake in the morning and just... sits up slowly, trying to pick Nero off of him without waking him up.]

[Nero's like, dead asleep this time, because he got woken up in the middle of the night.]

[Good thing there's always the workshop to hide out in. The roses are growing nicely there. The top of the loft is pretty out of view from the door, too.

Nero stirs eventually, trying to nuzzle into a Jason that wasn't there anymore. That forces his eyes open, groggily looking around.]
