I'd sort of expect it to be... taller?

Then again, maybe it's for beginners.

Guess we’d better.

[ let’s skiing!!

She pushes open the doors to the building, and— ]

..............oh wow.

...we did not dress for this.

We... could probably... see if they have clothes we can borrow in that building...?

[ laughing, in spite of herself, even as they're shutting the door hard behind them against the cold. ]

Well, all the more an adventure, I guess—‚

They really can put anything in this city, it seems.

I suppose so, and—goodness, there's even more in here? Honestly, it seems like you could even just spend a whole day indoors here, too...

...but oh, there's skis over here. I wonder if I should get more creative on additions to the dorm, honestly.

Oh—something like that... it would be nice, you're right. It'd be a nice place to sit, even in the winter...

[ she pulls down a coat to check it for size and warmness, and tries it on. ]

I don't know if you'd be interested in some kind of shared space ever, for the two of us...?

I hadn't really thought it through, but maybe some kind of connected courtyard would be nice. Could have a garden, some shade trees, some exercise equipment.

...although I promised Gold a receiving room first that we can flood to flush out anyone who's being rude.

Sort of like... a little home inside home, you could say.

...it really is nice to just... spend time one-on-one with you. It's... comfortable like... coming home out of the cold into a warm place, I guess.
softlyfalling: (and that's enough for today)

[ she pats at the hat a little bit, charmed, and then looks over, picks up a scarf that matches his eyes, and drapes it around his neck. ]

Mm. Coming home, wherever I am.

The blue looks good on you, by the way.

...I don’t know how a snowboard works, but... it has the right sort of look for something you’d like.

[ she is herself picking out some skis because she at least vaguely knows how those are supposed to work. ]

[ she eventually settles on skis from the section labeled for beginners, because, listen, she has zero pride.

but also she did try and find some ones with a gold-trim avante pattern. for the aesthetic. ]

I think I'm good to go, too, so—time to see what we can figure out, I guess?

I'm ready to practice falling facefirst into the snow.
