I hadn't really thought it through, but maybe some kind of connected courtyard would be nice. Could have a garden, some shade trees, some exercise equipment.
...although I promised Gold a receiving room first that we can flood to flush out anyone who's being rude.
Flood? Holy shit, could we actually do that? [He laughs, slipping on a ski jacket,] What'm I saying, of course we could. With dragons at the gate and gators in the moat, I bet.
A garden sounds beautiful... Somewhere t'just relax and. Be with you.
[His cheeks tint with pink, with a wistful air to him]
Re: Shrike
...but oh, there's skis over here. I wonder if I should get more creative on additions to the dorm, honestly.
Re: Shrike
[He's wandering over to the rentals and looking at ski jackets and fleece, for warmth]
Bet you could ask for a quiet brook near the woods, somewhere sunny... nice stuff, like that.
Re: Shrike
[ she pulls down a coat to check it for size and warmness, and tries it on. ]
I don't know if you'd be interested in some kind of shared space ever, for the two of us...?
Re: Shrike
Really? That's-- what should we get??

Re: Shrike
...it really is nice to just... spend time one-on-one with you. It's... comfortable like... coming home out of the cold into a warm place, I guess.
Re: Shrike
Or like walking through the door after a long trip. That weight on your shoulders' gone and everything feels lighter.
Re: Shrike
Mm. Coming home, wherever I am.
The blue looks good on you, by the way.
Re: Shrike
[He wraps the scarf snugly around him and zips everything up. Maximum warmth!
Next... the most important decision of all... he stares at the rack of snow equipment]
Snowshoe, ski... snowboard...
Re: Shrike
[ she is herself picking out some skis because she at least vaguely knows how those are supposed to work. ]
Re: Shrike
[He picks the coolest looking snowboard on the rack, of course.]
All right, I'm all set!
Re: Shrike
but also she did try and find some ones with a gold-trim avante pattern. for the aesthetic. ]
I think I'm good to go, too, so—time to see what we can figure out, I guess?
I'm ready to practice falling facefirst into the snow.
