Sort of like... a little home inside home, you could say.

...it really is nice to just... spend time one-on-one with you. It's... comfortable like... coming home out of the cold into a warm place, I guess.

...I don’t know how a snowboard works, but... it has the right sort of look for something you’d like.

[ she is herself picking out some skis because she at least vaguely knows how those are supposed to work. ]

[ she eventually settles on skis from the section labeled for beginners, because, listen, she has zero pride.

but also she did try and find some ones with a gold-trim avante pattern. for the aesthetic. ]

I think I'm good to go, too, so—time to see what we can figure out, I guess?

I'm ready to practice falling facefirst into the snow.
