[he's-- confused, but when he glances back and sees that look, he realizes at least one thing.

[Blurts out,]

he grows a little quiet as he considers that, and finally they can cross the hotel's threshold]

You really think that?

[Quietly,]

Uh, yeah? You're like... [smoking hot,] yeah.

[how does he point out that he feels awkward and off his game-- and that he already dislikes how his clothes are trying to slip off of him.]

Well...

[he hits the elevator button...]

I never considered it before.

[Biiiiites his lip,]

...Would you?

[consider it, i mean. because like. hmmmmgh.]

[a ding, and he leans back against the elevator wall after pressing the button for bad end]

... Maybe?

[unsure as he tilts his head to consider.]

You wanna try?

[Blinks, actually a tiny bit surprised by the offer. Especially since they're not in the dorms yet.]

What, y'mean like... at that??

That not what you were getting at?

[ding. the doors open and he walks out.]

Just. Surprised you'd talk about it outside your... room...

[nevermind let's just shut up and hurry inside the dorm]

... I guess I didn't care.

[huh.

well, no reason for that-- so he offers a mild shrug, unlocking his door and pushing it open for them to get inside.]

I got the antidotes if you don't wanna.

[...Huh.]

Well don't jump the gun too fast. I still haven't gotten a proper look at you...

[Can he close the blinds, please. Like, as dark as this room's able to get.]

[he absolutely can-- most of them are already closed. it's just the one to the window exit.

and he's closing that one, as he rifles through his drawer to pull out (1) antidote, and set it on the workstation.

then he turns back to face Nero, leaning against the desk, hands gripping the edge.]

That better?

[He blinks a few times, letting his eyes adjust to the low light - finally, he can kinda see. It's still dark, but it beat being in pain.

So when he sees Jason... Nero sucks in a sharp breath.]

...Okay. So that wasn't my imagination. You are hot.

[he's still in his very loose clothing, so it's hard to see much anyway, but he raises an eyebrow at him.]

That it? You think that anyway.

Sure, but put on a fancy new outfit and it'll still take my breath away.

[He comes up to Jason and, with care, rests his hands on her waist to appreciate those new curves.]

So, wear a fancy new outfit every now and again for you. Got it.

[it feels-- weird. in a way he can't quite place, but he's chalking it up to the gender change.

and to actually feeling weirdly nervous, even if he's down to experiment. time to cover that up by lifting a hand to lightly grab the front of Nero's shirt, and pull him in for a kiss.]

Why d'you think I was excited 'bout going shopping--

[oh, a kiss. Yeah wow. This is nice. He relaxes against him almost immediately, spurred on by the urge to explore these lips that were at once familiar, and completely new. A little fuller, softer, but that same taste.

Being grabbed, too, drummed up a spark of excitement in him. In reply, he lets his hand wander over the curve of his hips, curious and turned on.]

[there's a brief hesitance while he tries to find his footing with the kiss-- maybe a little over compensating for the difference with aggression, and with pushing the jacket off of Nero's shoulders.

there's a small break,]

Right, shopping-- yeah.

[and then his lips are back on Nero's]

[In the back of Nero's mind, he knows: this is unusually forward for Jason if they weren't running high on the adrenaline of a fight. And, well... they usually were, but.

He kisses him deeply, with his good arm roaming under the hem of his clothes to explore his back. The other, sharper, very metal grappling claw stayed at Jason's hip, where the thickness of denim kept him from hurting him.

Parting with another light gasp,]

You sure you wanna-- experiment now?

[Because, with potions they could really do it anytime. He just wanted to make sure. Like... don't feel pressured.]

I got an antidote if I change my mind.

[he nods his head where the bottle is, and then looks back to Nero, a soft smile framing his face, before dropping as he focuses elsewhere. He gets the concern, but he can’t quite place it. Why he feels open to this when normally, he has zero interest in it. But he takes the brief pause as a chance to work on some of these dumb buttons, a good distraction.]

It’s just weird.

[by way of explanation. And maybe he was making it more weird by forcing Nero to lean in close to him on the desk. But he closes the small gap between the two of them to kiss him again. Even if that felt different— he still loved it.

and this gave him a chance to get access to Nero's skin as the shirt falls away]

[Nero, meanwhile, unfastened his prosthetic arm. It was getting way too tempting to caress Jason with both hands, and... well, that was going to be a bloody mess. Probably not the best if Jason felt 'weird'.

Clunk, down it goes on the table. Now he could focus on kisses against Jason's jaw, down his neck... murmuring softly.]

I'll do my best... t'make it better than weird.

[he's half tempted to tease him about the claw-- it'd been awhile since they'd had that issue. and he still remembers the bite of it digging into his skin.

he tilts his head slightly.]

So, no going for the claw marks today? Aww.

[he teases lightly, as his hands push Nero's shirt off, and then slide down along his chest and to his sides, tracing the hem of his pants.]

My mark's still there. But maybe I should double check...

[He pushes Jason's shirt up, past the slope of his breasts where the scar trailed between his cleavage. The sight of them still etched into his skin lit a warmth in his core, urging him to peel the rest of that shirt off and kiss his collar appreciatively.]

[even with the change-- the faded lines are still there-- even though Jason feels his skin warming up in a way it normally wouldn't. he knows he's blushing, but he forces himself to be nonchalant about it, ducking his head slightly so the shirt could go to the side.]

Guess it is.

[but it's at this point, he pushes him back]

C'mon, unless we're about to have sex on top of my workstation which... please. I have to work here.

[he steals a kiss with a quick lean in before pushing away from the desk]
