sad bird in snow: Ah, really—
sad bird in snow: She does that??
sad bird in snow: I'm sure it was just that it was a really difficult experience???

sad bird in snow: Mm, I know there were some members she didn't really get along with...
sad bird in snow: Mostly John. I know they got in a really big fight at one point, and I know she's sort of felt disconnected from how LiliS wants to do things... we talked about it a bit recently because I asked her for advice on Cardinal.

sad bird in snow: Mm, I really hope not...
sad bird in snow: But everyone except Kohime filled it out! And I sent Amaranth after Kohime.
sad bird in snow: Actually, there's a lot of things the whole unit agrees on—specifically, that we all care about things not happening to each other that an individual isn't okay with, and that we don't care at all about going after people we don't like
sad bird in snow: There's a lot of different tolerance for different types of consequences, but if we're all looking out for each other, that shouldn't cause problems
sad bird in snow: The main discrepancy is that Cardinal cares a lot about making sure teams that, er, to use the popular term, "Eat shit" a lot, don't do that, whereas most everyone else except for myself and Amaranth rank that middling-to-low
sad bird in snow: But I think, honestly, it wouldn't impact us that much to try and spread out who we're targeting, if we have to target another unit specifically?

sad bird in snow: Even Cardinal rated "avoid things that unitmates don't want to have happen to them" at 2, so it's still high
sad bird in snow: Or rather, "anonymous respondent number one" but I can tell writing styles apart pretty easily.
sad bird in snow: And Christmas dinner is a good idea...
sad bird in snow: I don't want to keep people over it for very long, but I think it'll be nice for people to know we actually have a lot in common as far as priorities
sad bird in snow: I think it turns out Nem's pretty happy with how things have been going in games recently, also, which I worried about

sad bird in snow: I never know when I'm pushing her too hard to say more, but it does seem like the dogs are good for her...
sad bird in snow: Getting her a dog last winter does seem like it's done even more good than anyone could have expected.
sad bird in snow: I know Hurricane's been trying to look in on her, at least; I asked her a little bit if there was anything that might be nice to do as a unit and she was sort of noncommittal, but it might be nice to have something low-key...

sad bird in snow: Same

sad bird in snow: I suppose with Amaranth here we now have two whole members with a decent childhood
sad bird in snow: Cardinal would probably say that they're a third but I don't actually believe that.

sad bird in snow: I've come down pretty firmly on the side of "actually it's bad to raise your children as a weapon for your ideals, even if they say they're fine with that"

sad bird in snow: Here we are.
sad bird in snow: I know they're used to looking at the bigger picture of what's good for the whole of society, but their homeland is very... different.

sad bird in snow: I think technically they are trying to be
sad bird in snow: It’s just that they’re not actually great at it.
sad bird in snow: Anyway, I suppose I have plenty of ideals, it’s just—well, you have to take care of people in the short-term, too, not just the abstract ideal of people?

sad bird in snow: Devil's in the details sounds about right
sad bird in snow: We're trying to solve some awfully difficult problems, if you think about it

sad bird in snow: I love you so much.
sad bird in snow: Honestly, what would I do without you?
sad bird in snow: Game be damned, I want to kiss you a lot—but somewhere it’s just for us.
