[He accepts the help only extremely reluctantly. Only because old men have taught him when a hand is offered cor helping you get up, even if you don't need it, you take the hand. That's how it works. Some weird human social contract.]
...Not enough to try getting back to normal, hm? You don't have to hide your arm from me. Or wing as the case may be.
...Even with a prosthetic, it's not perfect. It's heavier than a normal arm. The straps make my skin itch by the end of the day. I can't keep it in water and it's hot wearing it in the summer. And I can't fix it myself when it gets broken, which means it's usually the first thing to break in a fight.
...It wouldn't my arm though, would it. Just some random human arm grafted to me. It'd be like-- if someone cut off your wings and you just replaced it with regular-ass bat wings. Sure, it does the same thing, but it's not you.
Mm, well, the ones they've given me are most likely not truly mine, nor do they function properly. But I am glad for them all the same simply because they are akin to what should be.
More or less, yes. Wouldn't it be more comfortable and easier to have a regular arm than deal with the troubles of a prosthetic? Hardly ideal, yes, but simpler.
Re: Day 297 MONSTER BINGO
...I am a bit weak at the moment.

[He shuffles off like a chastised puppy, perching at Vergil's side to help pick him up with his one good claw.
Once he was up, he turned away - trying to shield the view of his half formed stump of a wing from him.]

Sullenly, he mutters,]
It's barely a wing.
...I hate it.
Re: Day 297 MONSTER BINGO
It's a shame you can't fly like that. But otherwise it's no different than your arm normally.

[But that detail sure does make him feel bad...]
Have you thought about getting sensitIV to attach a new arm?

...If none of it's real, maybe it doesn't matter? As long as it's comfortable?

Re: Day 297 MONSTER BINGO
They got power, though. An assortment of'em that'll work even when our units abilities are turned off. That's the one point in its favor.
Re: Day 297 MONSTER BINGO
[How could he possibly forget]
That is quite the point in its favour. ...I would like to know you're always armed even if they take weapons from us.

[What if he not so subtly leans his head in for more pats...]
