[he tilts his head. that doesn't make sense to him, and it's clear, even if his expression is still half joking.]

Nero sits up and shifts himself over toward where Jason stood at the edge of the bed.]

[he runs a hand through his hair, and sighs, affixing a half smile to his lips]

[Said without fear, in complete faith.]

[he wishes he had that faith in himself.]

[thank god for that, because he's gonna pull Jason down into a soft kiss.]

[he-- starts to argue but the kiss stops him for a brief few moments.]

I'm serious.

[he frowns at him, once the kiss is done]

So'm I.

I know the risks. I can make my own choices.

[there's a long pause, before he finally continues, slowly, a bit unsure--]

... For some reason... I guess I'm not inclined t'fight you one this.

[Nero smiles back, satisfied. For Jason, that's a big step.]

[he leans back to grab his jacket]
