That's how demons are, I think. If you're weak you... you can't hold onto anything precious. You don't deserve it. And it's only gonna cause you pain when you lose it.

Even if I know I won't lose you, I'm-- still a demon. I know it's not better t'be alone, but... it still scares me. Feeling helpless.
