[Yeah playing it cool. Nothing weird here, aside from the excited puppy vibe pouring off Griffin as he follows suit.
When he's finally able to close the door behind him, he pretty much just JUMPS ONTO JASON with all the suppressed joy and energy from the last hour in his kiss.]
[he stumbles back a step or two, practically catching Griffin.
he had a feeling that was what Griffin wanted-- and. well, it's kind of nice, with his hands holding Griffin's sides, and tilting his head down just slightly to make the angle easier
he doesn't even take the chance to make some sort of sarcastic comment]
[He's clinging on tight with his arms in an embrace and his legs wrapped around Jason's waist, joyfully and selfishly hording his lips. It's hard, holding it in - but being able to let go like this makes it feel worth it.]
[somehow, that? wasn't what he was expecting. he doesn't know what exactly he was expecting, but it definitely wasn't "I really liked today." Even if it made sense in the abstract. And even if every instinct in his panicked mind was telling him "you're going to ruin this. will it be worth it?"
luckily, he can use catching his breath as an excuse to not reply, even if the privacy does allow some of his guard to drop. and for some of the confusion to show on his face.
but instead of replying, he just... closes the distance, kissing him again, his grip tightening just slightly]
[Griffin sees that confusion, and his face softens - from an ecstatic smile into an appreciative one. It was a little like the confusion when he gave him that book, right? But... this time he wasn't running away, scared.
He was trying. He was trying so hard to accept this. So it was fine that he didn't say anything back. It was enough that Jason let himself have this.
Griffin cups his face with one hand as they kiss, as though to tell him, thank you.]
[allowing himself to say nothing wasn't exactly fair, but he couldn't think of anything good he could say. the minute he opens his mouth, he knows he's going to say something stupid.
something hurtful.
something griffin doesn't deserve to hear. he'll just keep those thoughts to himself, shoving them aside for the moment, though this kiss is briefer than the last.]
What other colors do you need? I can grab them for next time.
[This... he doesn't know. Whether to keep pushing.
Griffin wants more, he's aching for more, and he's so sure Jason wants him too, but-- maybe it'd be a step too far. Overwhelming?
Breathing in deep, he closes his eyes and lets his head rest on Jason's shoulder for a moment, savouring this if it was the closest he'd get today. After a moment, murmuring quietly,]
Hey, Jason... I can let go if I'm too heavy for you.
[it's hard not to notice that, to pretend not to notice. he knows why Griffin's doing it. Jason knows he's being weird, that his brain is kicking into overdrive in ways that he doesn't really understand, or have a good way to fight against.
he knows that the words are just an excuse. Griffin wasn't heavy for him. not in the physical sense, even if his fingers twitch lightly in rebellion, at the implication, holding tighter for just a moment.]
[he pauses, savoring that feeling for a moment, letting Griffin croon out his suggestion. tired? tired was far from the truth. but the implication-- he had to admit to himself that he was craving it.
set aside all the panic. shove that further down.
and he moves forward, easily, setting him down, letting himself be pulled in.]
Something tells me you don't want me to actually be tired.
Re: 202
[With reluctance, he detaches himself and slides off, dusting his jacket off as he touches ground.
Still smiling to himself, he fights the urge to look back at Jason - and loses. Glances back,]
Well? How's she handle?
Re: 202
[he glances back at him.]
Now I'm extra jealous.
Re: 202
One day. You'll get that bike of yours.
Re: 202
[he glances back at the hotel too-- and just starts walking that way.
rather than asking.]
Re: 202
Griffin trots after him like a puppy, vibrating with happy energy to be out from the camera's gaze soon.]
Re: 202
Re: 202
Floor?
Re: 202
Re: 202
And up they go]
Re: 202
but sure, then the elevator's gonna open up on the bad end floor.]
Almost might think you like our shitty dorm.
Re: 202
[After you, sir]
Re: 202
Which means, better head that off to his room.]

Re: 202
I'm low on gold and black.
Re: 202
[not any crazy requests.]
I'll make sure to grab them.
[as though he doesn't notice the affection, as though his grip doesn't lessen around Griffin.]

You're not heavy.
[he admits, slowly.]
Re: 202
But you're still tired, right?
[He pulls back the collar of that punk jacket and plants a kiss on the skin there, gentle. Caressing his neck with a soft suggestion,]
You can put me down on the bed...

M...maybe I wanna have sex this time. [y'know, that's not weird. he's not-- embarrassed, having to say that out loud.]
