Re: Day 340

Try and shake off the crumbs so you don't track them in the dorm...

[Anyways, Nero will lead him to his room - and through a mystery door to:]

The bathroom is styled like a basilica, with high, curved ceilings that flood the room in rays of warm light. Frescos depicting the angelic host adorn the canopy, but the paint has faded from age and the humidity, leaving the gold leaf bright against the stone.

Steam rises from the large bath at the heart of the room, with a statue of two Medieval-style dragons locked in mortal combat at its center. Their mouths (and wounds) are fountain spouts, pouring water for the bath. The temperature can be adjusted by touching the statues for hot and cold - turning the dragons red and blue respectively - and the bath can be drained by stabbing both dragons with a sword, upon which they will revert back to white marble.

The floor is made of patterned stone tiles that warm with the bath, but wine-red rugs line the run-off for the water, woven with gold into a tapestry of the two eternally battling dragons.

The sink is to the side, where the pulpit would be, while the shower is located at the altar itself: a relief of a hooded saint sprays water down from an urn. Tall, ornate gold candlesticks stand at each side, with delicate chancel flowers decorating the length. The candle flame come to life automatically when someone enters the room, and burn even in the presence of water.

The toilet, of course, is in the confessional booth.
